Allegro IT ApS has handled the file communication between Kobborg Consult and MasterCard/Betalingsservice (the Danish direct debit scheme). File exchange runs over both HTTPS and FTP, depending on which channel the given file type requires.
The work covers both the creation of direct debit agreements and the submission of payment collection requests. In practice that means new agreements are sent off to Betalingsservice, collection requests go out ahead of the agreed withdrawal date, and receipt and status files are read back and matched against the original agreements and requests.
It's not the kind of work that shows up on a front-end screen, but it's exactly the kind of integration that lets an organisation offer online Betalingsservice sign-ups — and then trust that the money actually gets pulled on time, without anyone having to shuffle files around by hand.
